It fits neatly into the car between the front seats and plugs into the cigarette lighter. It has two cups that are stored in the jug. The only problem is that it takes half an hour to boil 2 cups of water. Both units only lasted for about ten uses then died. On taking a closer look at my second unit after it died, it look as if it was wired for a 240/120 volt circuit and not a 12/24 volt circuit (internal wiring too thin).
